Resident expresses concern about Manor Chemical fire; officer offers report number

During public participation at the Aug. 11 meeting, resident D. Benz expressed concern about a recent fire at Manor Chemical and the lack of posted public information. Chairman Bornmueller said the incident was outside the municipality, that the Village had not been notified directly, and that no official report was available at that time; he noted the Village had posted an acknowledgment on its Facebook page.
Officer Infante offered to provide the report number so the resident could request the police report through a Sunshine request. No official report was produced to the board during the meeting.
