Former employee asks for reinstatement; resident requests clearer meeting screens and sign-in names

At the public comment portion of the Dec. 18 meeting, former county employee Blake See addressed the court and requested that his prior position be reinstated. He described 8.5 years with the county and more than 10 years of forklift experience and said, “I respectfully like to have my job reinstated.” The court listened but took no formal action on the request.
Another resident, John Strodeman, urged procedural improvements for the public meeting stream and materials: he asked staff to add a year-to-date line on the EFT/claims screen, display an employee’s name and department on the meeting screen when they approach the podium, and include the name of the person who signed request sheets. Commissioners said they would take the suggestions under advisement.
