Comal County elections staff presented the canvas of the Nov. 4 constitutional amendment election and the court accepted the results. The clerk read vote totals for all 17 state propositions, giving counts for votes-for and votes-against for each proposition across the county.
"This election for being a constitutional amendment election had a tremendous turnout," elections staff said, noting lines on election night and comparing turnout growth with the 2023 amendment election. After the totals were read, the court voted to approve the canvas by motion. No objections or recount requests were raised during the meeting.
