"This resolution is for an annual application for the '26 grant year. This is a reimbursement grant, and the award is based on allocated funds," the staff member explained. Separately, county law-enforcement leadership requested authorization to submit a grant application through the Office of the Governor for bullet-resistant components for patrol vehicles—windshields, front side windows and front door panels—which the court also authorized for electronic submittal.
