Commissioners approve county, community-funded upgrades at Hidden Valley and Jumbo Evans parks

The Community Resource and Recreation Center of Canyon Lake is contributing $21,000 toward the Hidden Valley HVAC project; Spring Branch Tennis Association will contribute $10,000 for the Jumbo Evans tennis improvements.
"These are projects we're budgeted in 2026, and we have these project agreements that the entities are providing funds and identifying other aspects of that agreement between us and them," the staff member said. Commissioners moved and approved both agreements in one vote. Staff recommended approval and said the county has budgeted roughly $65,000 for the Hidden Valley work and just over $385,000 in total for the tennis-court project.
