CDD accepts unaudited Oct. 31 financials; notes ICS investment and pond-treatment schedule

The board accepted the unaudited financial statements for the period ending Oct. 31, 2024 on a unanimous vote. District Manager Chuck Adams told the board the newly established BankUnited Insured Cash Sweep (ICS) account initially carried a 4.75% interest rate that he believes has dropped to about 4.25%.
Adams also reported that a new contract with Premier Lakes for pond treatments began Dec. 1, 2024; the ponds will be treated three times annually, with the next applications scheduled for March and July 2025. The financial statements were accepted on a motion by Arthur Rhodes, seconded by Carol Vaughan.
