CDD proposes slightly smaller FY2026 O&M budget; public hearing set for July 15

The Heritage Pines Community Development District Board of Supervisors on April 15 adopted Resolution 2025-03 approving a proposed Operation & Maintenance budget for fiscal year 2025/2026 and set a public hearing for July 15, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in the Heritage Pines Country Club Meeting Room.
District Manager Chuck Adams told the Board that "the proposed Fiscal Year 2026 budget is similar to the Fiscal Year 2025 budget," noting adjustments that result in a net reduction of approximately $4,000 in appropriations year-over-year. He said the O&M assessment is projected to decrease by about $2.88 per unit compared with the current year. The resolution passed on a unanimous motion by Arthur Rhodes, seconded by Carol Vaughan.
The Board directed staff to follow Florida law on transmittal, posting and publication requirements for the budget and to publish the Notice of Public Hearing. The hearing will be the formal opportunity for public comment and final adoption of the FY2026 budget.
