Maybrook honors veterans at Memorial Day parade; Donna Caudy named Grand Marshal

"On Memorial Day, we remembered and honored those who made the ultimate sacrifice allowing us to live in a land where we can enjoy the blessings of liberty," Leahy said. He congratulated Grand Marshal Donna Caudy and thanked guest speaker County Executive Steve Neuhaus, the Maybrook Troop 236 Scout Band, police and fire departments, the VFW Post 2064 and other community partners for their roles in the observance.
The mayor also singled out Deputy Mayor Charles Woznick and Clerk/Treasurer David Griffith for organizing elements of the event. No policy actions were taken; the report was a ceremonial and community update.
