Maybrook trustees introduce annexation local law and set March 10 public hearing

At the Feb. 10 meeting, Attorney K. Naughton presented Introductory Local Law #2 of 2025 to formally annex a parcel into the Village of Maybrook. Deputy Mayor Charles Woznick moved to introduce the local law and Trustee William Treco seconded; the motion passed with a 4-0 vote.
The board also approved a motion by Trustee Treco, seconded by Trustee Giannico, to set a public hearing on March 10, 2025. Attorney Naughton said the annexation is contingent on actions by the adjoining town and that this step formally places the annexation on the village's legislative track.
