During committee reports Alderman Hillier said she had received multiple compliments on the cemetery's appearance and that the Fire Department is interested in expanding July 4 activities to an all-day event.
Alderman Reed reported he had not yet received the movie equipment intended for Parks, and Alderman Eiker relayed that resident Dale Gibbs of 107 North West St. requested the city inspect a tree located on the corner of North and West Streets on city right-of-way. Clerk Kirchgessner also reminded the board that the Presbyterian Church would host an ice-cream social at the band concert on June 18.
No committee reports in the minutes included formal motions or funding votes; the items were recorded as informational reports and reminders.
