The Central School District #3 board on June 24 unanimously adopted a set of policy updates on second reading. Member Jason Cooley moved to approve the second reading of a package of policy revisions (2:200, 2:220, 2:250, 2:260, 4:45, 4:165, 5:30, 5:50, 5:250, 5:330, 6:50, 6:65, 6:100, 6:145, 6:170, 6:180, 7:20, 7:50, 7:100, 7:185, 7:220, 7:230, 7:240, 7:260, 7:280, 7:300, 8:90; Doc. Reg. #6129) and President Andrew Dearwester seconded; the motion passed by voice vote with no opposition.
During committee briefings the board also noted that the bid opening for the fascia/soffit building project was moved to July 14 at 10:00 a.m. Finance committee had not met; the board set curriculum committee dates for Oct. 14, Feb. 10 and Apr. 14 for the 2026–27 year.
