Board approves two principal appointments for 2026–27

The Center Cass SD 66 Board of Education unanimously approved two principal appointments for the 2026–27 school year on Jan. 14. The board voted 7–0 to appoint Carrie Fitzgerald as principal of Elizabeth Ide and to appoint Kim Liles as principal of Lakeview Junior High.
Both motions were made and seconded by board members (Fitzgerald’s appointment: moved by Tiffany Watson, seconded by Steve Dlugo; Liles’s appointment: moved by Megan DuPass, seconded by Doug Wiley). Board President Brian Liedtke and all seven members recorded "Yea" on the roll call. The approvals come after superintendent recommendations and followed an executive-session personnel discussion earlier in the evening. The appointments take effect for the 2026–27 school year.
