Principals report strong testing results and extracurricular milestones; superintendent notes end-of-year dates

At the May 18 meeting Principal D. Eich reported that Milledgeville Elementary students recently completed NWEA MAP testing with positive results and continued participation in Missile Mentor Monday and end-of-year field trips; he also said 17 junior high track athletes qualified for the Illinois Elementary School Association state finals in Peoria.
Principal T. Jakse said Senior Scholarship Night on May 6 was well attended and that high school awards ceremonies went smoothly; IHSA regional baseball and softball competitions begin this week. Superintendent T. Schurman reminded the board the last day of school is May 21, 2026, teacher institute is May 22, and IASB resolutions are due June 19, 2026.
