The superintendent said the amendments adjust revenues and expenditures to reflect differences between actual and base budgets and to account for unforeseen expenses.
Superintendent T. Schurman told the board amendments included costs related to an insurance loss fund, special education expenses, a reduction in Tort expenditures, and adjustments to capital outlay spending. The board approved the amended budget by roll-call vote; A. Drinkall, S. Engelkens, P. Eubanks, T. Hackbarth, C. Rahn and M. Urish voted aye, with no nays recorded.
