The board approved the proposed 2026–27 Milledgeville High School Curriculum Guide at the Feb. 17 meeting. Principal T. Jakse told the board that two new courses are included in the guide: High School Seminar, intended to teach students how to be successful in grades 9–12, and a Career Math course focused on applied mathematical skills.
Board member C. Rahn moved to approve the curriculum guide and M. Urish seconded; the motion passed by voice vote with six ayes. The additions are intended to give students explicit supports for transition and career‑focused mathematics instruction in the coming school year.
