The Cerro Gordo CUSD 100 Board of Education convened a special meeting Nov. 10 at 3:19 p.m. in the superintendent's office. President Pro Tempore Bebar called the meeting; members Bebar, Curran, Howell and Greenwood were present, while Malinda Callaway, Angela Miller and Rodd Runyen were absent. Superintendent Weidner and Principal Willard attended; no public participation was recorded.
At 3:21 p.m. the board adjourned to executive session under 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(9) for a student disciplinary hearing in case CG2025-01 and returned at 3:43 p.m. The board approved the executive-session minutes, then voted unanimously to expel student CG2025-01 for the 2025–2026 and 2026–2027 school years, with the expulsion to be held in abeyance if the student attends and successfully completes an alternative school program. Bebar declared the meeting adjourned at 3:45 p.m.
