Cerro Gordo board certifies April 1 election results; newly elected members take oath

The Cerro Gordo CUSD 100 Board of Education certified the April 1, 2025 election results during a May 7 special meeting. Superintendent Weidner read the official canvas, which showed "Curran, Runyen, and Bebar were elected to 4 year terms. Callaway was elected to a 2 year term." Curran moved to adopt the canvas of board election results; Howell seconded, and a roll-call vote recorded Callaway, Curran, Freese, Greenwood, Howell, Miller and Runyen voting yea. The motion carried.
After the certification, newly elected members Bebar, Callaway, Curran and Runyen recited the Oath of Office as described in Board Policy 2:80. Superintendent Weidner administered the organizational items and the meeting proceeded to officer elections. The minutes record that the board reconvened at 6:06 p.m. following a sine die adjournment earlier in the meeting.
