Kevin Buckley of McGuire, Yuhas, Huffman & Buckley, P.C. provided a short summary of the Village of Cerro Gordo’s annual financial report at the Sept. 15 meeting and recommended future briefings to the Finance Committee to streamline reporting to the full board.
Buckley suggested auditors meet with the Finance Committee in the future to allow the committee to review the audit details before the committee reports out to the Board of Trustees. The minutes do not record detailed audit findings in the public minutes beyond this recommendation.
