Clerk Kelley Morrison administered the Oath of Office to Kevin Frazier, who was sworn in as President of the Village of Cerro Gordo. The clerk also swore in newly elected trustees Jeff Powers, Chad Anderson, Nick Hyde and Monta Hyde.
Following the swearing-in, the board approved the consent agenda — minutes from the April 21 meeting, financial reports and claims — by motion (moved by Trustee Anderson and seconded by Trustee Walsh). The roll call on the consent agenda was recorded as all ayes. The roster of attendees printed in the minutes lists President Powers, trustees (including Frydenger, Walsh, Keirl and others), DPW Mark Blickensderfer, Treasurer Samantha Schenkel, Attorney Susan Nicholas and Clerk Kelley Morrison.
The swearing-in sets the membership for the board’s business this year and preceded routine agenda items including infrastructure updates and grant action items. The board also scheduled a special meeting for June 2, 2025 to act on a drainage contract after bids are opened.
