Board hears campus and department reports, convenes executive session on personnel and adjourns

During the Sept. 16 meeting principals gave updates on their campuses and the board received reports from maintenance/operations, the athletic director, and Chief Jayme Burley. Interim Superintendent Wes Rhoten and Assistant Superintendent for Business and Finance Cindy Wiedemann discussed informational items with the board; these items are recorded as informational in the minutes.
President James Moeller called the board into executive session at 8:58 p.m. under Tex. Gov't Code 551.074 to discuss personnel matters. The board returned to open session at 9:16 p.m., and Trustee James Whittington moved to adjourn at 9:17 p.m.; Trustee Phillip Burley seconded, and the motion carried unanimously (7-0).
