The board approved a consent agenda covering routine governance and administrative items by motion of Mr. French, seconded by Mr. Rampenthal; the motion carried on roll call 5–0 with two members absent. Items approved included authorization of Washington State Bank, Illinois School District Liquid Asset Funds (PMA), and Washington Community Bank as legal depositories, a resolution authorizing the treasurer to pay bond and interest when due and to make investments when directed by the superintendent or the board, retention of Darcy Biedscheid as recording secretary, and retention of Don Twaddle as school treasurer at a rate of $3,900 for the 2026–27 school year.
The consent agenda also included approval of the Central School District 51 Consolidated District Plan, a resolution directing sale or disposition of personal property, and setting the regular board meeting schedule for 2026–27. Board minutes list each consent item explicitly; none of the consent items generated separate discussion at the meeting.
