During committee review on June 8, district administration presented the amended FY25–26 budget and an initial outlook for FY27. Dale Heidbreder told the board, "The District is projected to end FY26 with an overall deficit of approximately $240,000," and said the FY27 budget "is expected to be very tight due to ongoing financial constraints."
Heidbreder also presented Bushue benchmarking comparisons showing Central categorized in the medium-sized group (1,000–1,999 students). He recommended at the upcoming board meeting that trustees approve a 4.5% increase for administrator and support staff salaries for FY27. The committee received the figures as informational; no final budget adoption or salary vote was recorded at the committee meeting.
