Mr. Halpin said a two‑year extension would "provide the future curriculum leader time to begin a curriculum review process and make any recommendations" and would align with the district Curriculum Planning Flow Chart. No board action was taken during the committee; the extension was presented as a recommendation to be considered at a subsequent board meeting.
