Counsel to press Village and County on road ownership; board approves MRI driveway repair credit and $12,000 repair

District Counsel Lenore Brakefield reported that the Village of Estero's position is it does not need to maintain the road west of U.S. 41 to the Clubhouse, while District Counsel Tony Pires believes the County is responsible. Mr. Pires said he will send a letter to the Village of Estero and the County's counsel asserting that the Village owns the road and requesting clarification.
Mrs. Adams distributed MRI's proposal to repair driveway damage within a CDD easement; MRI credited the CDD $10,500 on a $22,500 project. On motion by Keith Merrill and seconded by Bob Schultz, with all in favor, the board approved MRI Construction, Inc. Proposal #514 for driveway repairs at 21320 Pelican Sound Drive in the amount of $12,000.
