Board accepts unaudited Dec. 31 financials and hears plans for a 10-year forecast

Mrs. Adams presented the unaudited financial statements as of Dec. 31, 2024 and explained that accounting is recoding some expenses—moving certain 'Engineering' expenses to a 'Special Revenue Fund' line and recoding $4,343 from "Contingencies" to the "Landscape" General Fund outside the gates.
Supervisor Kurt Blumenthal noted the unassigned working capital showing funds carried into FY2025 and said the CDD "is on sound financial footing." Mr. Long said additional forecasted items for a 10-year planning piece will include the Lake 8 stormwater management project, asphalt and gutter repairs, and replacing 31-year-old irrigation pipes. The board accepted the statements and asked staff to return with the 10-year forecast at a future meeting.
