Council approves $296,700 engineering proposal for State Street pump station and tank rehabilitation

The City Council approved Resolution #2026-21 authorizing a proposal from Christopher B. Burke Engineering, Ltd. for construction engineering and contract administration related to the State Street pump station improvement and elevated water tank and ground storage tank rehabilitation projects. Alderman Sonia Perez moved the resolution and Alderman Vincent Zaranti seconded the motion.
Public Utilities Superintendent Craig Blanchette told the council the proposal amount is $296,700. “Proposal was in the amount of $296,700,” Blanchette said. The council approved the proposal by unanimous vote of members present.
