The River Ridge Community Development District on Aug. 27 adopted its fiscal year 2024–2025 budget by approving Resolution 2024-07 as amended.
District Manager Chuck Adams told the board the budget posted in the agenda contained scrivener errors; Supervisor Kurt Blumenthal had submitted specific corrections to the street-sweeping description. Mrs. Adams opened a statutorily required public hearing and no affected property owners or members of the public spoke. "The Fiscal Year 2025 budget in the agenda is not correct," Adams said, and the board moved to adopt the revised document.
The motion to adopt Resolution 2024-07 was made by Mr. Blumenthal and seconded by Mr. Twombly; the measure passed "with all in favor." The board did not record individual roll-call votes in the transcript but four supervisors participated (Mountford, Blumenthal, Twombly and Schultz participated remotely) and one supervisor (Gilman) was absent. The adoption authorizes the district's annual appropriations for the period Oct. 1, 2024–Sept. 30, 2025 and permits subsequent budget amendments as provided in the resolution.
The district will publish the final, amended budget consistent with district procedures. No property-owner appeals or public objections were recorded at the hearing.
