Commissioners approve four rezoning requests after unanimous planning recommendation

The Robertson County Commission on Aug. 19 approved four zoning changes the county planning commission had recommended unanimously. Planner Hunter read the resolutions and told the commission each case had a 7–0 recommendation from the planning commission; commissioners heard no public opposition and moved to adopt each rezoning by voice vote.
The items included a 6.94‑acre parcel at 7727 Bulls Road (DNX to AG‑2), an 8.70‑acre parcel at 2188 South Mount Pleasant Road (AG‑2 to R‑40), a 2.09‑acre portion at 3821 Robert Pryor Road (AG‑2 to RP‑80) and a 2.11‑acre portion at 4552 Highway 49 West (AG‑2 to RP‑80). The planner stated, "The planning commission recommended approval by a vote of 7 to 0." Each resolution was moved and approved in sequence without extended debate.
Commissioners closed the public hearing after no speakers came forward and returned the items to the county commission for final votes.
