Planning commission to mail resident survey with water bills; public-safety survey to follow separately

Mike Botelho, reporting for Planning Commission member Julie Bonello, said the commission has been working with Marcy from Southwest to build a resident survey. The plan is to distribute the survey in January with the water bills, include a QR code and provide hard-copy options at the village office; responses would be due by Feb. 7 or Feb. 14 and weekly reminders would be sent.
Councilor Mike Mumper said he wanted the public-safety building survey run separately so the planning survey could be issued earlier; the council agreed the safety-building survey should be separate to avoid delaying the primary planning survey. The council approved a motion to move forward with the planning survey.
