Board accepts superintendent reports; SBAC data to be presented at August meeting

The board voted to accept the Superintendent’s Written Report – Academics and the Superintendent’s Written Report – Student and Family Support Services.
Dr. Jennifer Hills-Papetti said mid-year assessments are not administered at the middle or high school and that the SBAC testing window will close in late May and early June; she offered to share a full data report at the August board meeting when SBAC results are available. She also said district staff have met with St. Joseph’s and The Williams School to coordinate IDEA and Title funding and credited staff for scheduling those meetings.
Both reports were accepted by recorded motions (Academics: motion by Maynard-Adams, second Garbini; Student & Family Support Services: motion by Maynard-Adams, second Hambey) and each motion carried 7-0.
