Grants open tomorrow; council approves minutes and adjourns
Summary
Staff announced multiple recreation grant programs opening the next day. The council approved June 17 minutes as amended (motion by Brody Johnson, seconded by Scott Wheeler) and later moved to adjourn (motion by Brody Johnson, seconded by Mike Cook).
Rachel Spoker announced that the OHA recreation grant, the outdoor recreation mitigation grant and the outdoor recreation infrastructure grant open the next day; staff said the mitigation grant covers search and rescue and certain infrastructure damaged by heavy visitation.
Earlier in the meeting the council addressed approval of the June 17 minutes after a member raised a transcription error about fuel in Logan Canyon; Brody Johnson moved to approve the minutes as amended and Scott Wheeler seconded. The chair called for the ayes and the minutes were approved; new members Dean Harris and Lacey were allowed to abstain because they were not present at the prior meeting. At the end of the agenda Brody Johnson moved to adjourn and Mike Cook seconded; the chair adjourned the meeting.
