Brody Johnson nominated Blankenagel and the nomination was ratified by roll call; Blankenagel recused himself from the ratification vote.
Wade Allinson, OHV program manager, presided over the leadership elections. Scott Wheeler nominated Johnson for vice chair; the nomination was seconded and carried unanimously after floor nominations were closed. The council followed formal roll-call procedures for both leadership votes. No amendments to leadership terms were proposed. The council then continued with the agenda, including grant-policy briefings and appointments to vacant representative seats.
