Carlinville board awards 2025–26 snow-removal contract to local lawncare firm

Dr. Becky Schuchman said the district received only one bidder for CPS snow removal and emphasized the need for an available contractor to clear snow if schools remain in session.
The contract award authorizes Davis Lawncare to respond under the specifications included in the district bid documents. The board did not discuss an alternative vendor; administration indicated service availability and ability to meet the district’s needs were primary concerns.
