The West Bonner County School District #83 Board of Trustees convened a special meeting on Jan. 14, 2025, at 4:30 p.m. at the district office in Priest River. Trustee Paul Turco moved to approve the agenda; Trustee Delbert Pound seconded the motion and the board approved it by a recorded vote of 5-0.
The board then voted to go into executive session "in compliance with Idaho Code 74-206(1)(b) and (d)." The minutes record that Principal Matt George, Superintendent Kim Spacek, Student Resource Officer Chris Davis and the guardian of Student A were present with board members and the clerk during the executive session. Following the closed session, the board returned to open session and recorded formal actions, including a motion to accept the recommendation to expel Student A; that motion passed 5-0.
