Board elects Ann Yount chair, Margaret Hall vice chair in annual reorganization

The West Bonner County School District Board of Trustees completed its annual reorganization at a Jan. 15 meeting in Priest River, electing Trustee Ann Yount as chair and Trustee Margaret Hall as vice chair. Trustees also elected Kendra D. Salesky as treasurer and Julie Hinshaw as board clerk; the motions were passed unanimously.
Board Clerk Julie Hinshaw read the district Code of Ethics and trustees signed the document. The board affirmed Superintendent Kim Spacek as Public Records Coordinator (motion by Margaret Hall, seconded by Kathy Nash). The session included routine governance housekeeping such as confirming committee and site-council appointments for 2025 and preserving current committee assignments.
