Board honors teachers, paraeducators, retirees and 2026 graduates

The New London Board of Education opened its June 8 meeting with staff recognitions led by Christine Pemberton, Executive Director of Talent & Human Resources. Pemberton acknowledged newly certified educators, the Class of 2026 Sacred Heart University graduates, Teachers of the Year, Paraeducators of the Year, length-of-service honorees and recent retirees.
Pemberton said the full list of honorees and the presentation materials are available upon request. The board offered congratulations to recipients and moved on to public comment and regular business.
