At the Feb. 19 meeting the board approved three memoranda of understanding: a custodial/maintenance attendance-bonus MOU for Feb.–June 2025; an unpaid leave-of-absence MOU with JSSA for a paraprofessional; and an amendment to Appendix E of the JEA stipend schedule to cover a high-school softball assistant (JV coach). The motions passed unanimously.
The board also approved consent-agenda items to recycle outdated technology hardware and to establish two new activity accounts at Jacksonville Middle School (ASL Club and FCA Club). Separately, trustees approved a surety bond for the 2025 bond issue with Lyndon Southern Insurance Company for an annual premium of $719.00. All votes on these business items were recorded as unanimous in the minutes.
