The board reviewed and adopted the annual plan for Measure R parcel tax allocations for 2026–27.
Gerardo Cruz explained the Measure R planning timeline — starting in the fall, reviewed by the parcel tax subcommittee and the financial oversight committee, with public comment considered in April. He said the subcommittee made allocation adjustments following public comment, including reducing the technology portion of Measure R by about $100,000 and moving those items to the general fund where operationally appropriate. Staff recommended approval of the final plan and noted the plan’s allocations will be reflected when the board adopts the full budget.
A board member moved and the board approved the annual Measure R plan in a roll‑call vote with unanimous support among members present.
