Key approvals included: a master services renewal with EPIC for special‑education staffing; a six‑year adoption and purchase of VISTA Spanish curriculum materials for middle and high school presented by Dr. Price; the annual Neonet district technology services agreement for centralized remote support; continuation of the Communities in Schools partnership (cost split 50/50) and related data‑reporting commitments; renewal of Educational Alternatives for out‑of‑district special education services; and a grouped approval of multiple third‑party transportation vendors (subjects f–l) to provide routes and specialized transportation when district drivers are not available.
The board also approved a package of vendor and service resolutions including KCE Champions (after‑school program), Educational Service Center agreements for visually impaired and audiology services, and a Bright Bee paraeducator/nonemployee agreement to serve as substitute paraeducators where needed. Each item was moved, seconded and carried on roll call according to the transcript.
