Trustees approve donation acceptances, EBSCO renewal and an $800 trustee-account reimbursement

Trustees approved several funding and subscription items during the July 22 meeting.
Donna announced donations from Scott and Kimberly Hamilton ($2,000, split $1,000 for print materials and $1,000 for furniture) and Deborah Donovan ($200, allocated $100 teen-area decor, $100 reopening celebration). Beth moved and the board unanimously accepted the unanticipated funds under RSA 202-A:4-c.
The board also approved the Consumer Reports (EBSCO) database renewal for $1,693.02, to be paid from the digital books and databases budget line. On a separate motion, trustees approved a request to grant $800 from the trustee account to cover care and household items for the library mascot 'Oscar' and a staff reimbursement; the motion passed 5–0.
