The Lincolnwood School District 74 Board of Education on April 3 ratified a four‑year agreement with the Lincolnwood Teachers’ Association covering 2025–2029. Secretary John P. Vranas moved the motion, Vice President Peter D. Theodore seconded it, and the board recorded a unanimous vote of approval with Member Ted Kwon absent.
On behalf of the board, Secretary Vranas "thanked the LTA negotiating team for their collaboration," and the minutes note the negotiation process was a team effort that went smoothly. LTA Co‑President Travis DuPriest addressed the board and expressed appreciation for the open dialogue that led to an agreement both sides could be proud of.
The motion was submitted to a vote by President Kevin Daly and passed with ayes from Foutris, Vranas, Theodore, Shah Mandal, Oleniczak and Daly; Kwon was absent. The ratification was recorded as a formal board action in the meeting minutes.
