The Hazel Crest School District 152½ Board of Education approved the district's FY26 annual budget during its Sept. 15 regular meeting. Member Kimberly Chalmers moved to approve Action Item 25-75; Member LaKeya Webb seconded and the motion carried on a roll-call vote: Chalmers, Webb, Myles, Armstrong, Richardson and Barnett voted AYE; Frances Pollard was absent.
Board materials presented account and payroll totals earlier in the meeting: accounts payable across funds were listed at $1,010,481.76 and payroll totals at $765,053.48, for a grand total reported of $1,775,535.24. The board did not request additional amendments during the public session. The budget approval was recorded as a formal board action (25-75) and will guide district spending for FY26.
