At its Jan. 20, 2026 meeting, the Evart City Council voted to reschedule two meetings to Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2026 and Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2026. Council member Mike Fulton moved the change and Ralph Carlson seconded; the motion passed with all members voting in favor.
City Clerk Andrea Grupido had shown a graphic to council outlining the November ballot — the mayor’s seat, four council seats and the city clerk are up — and staff discussed outreach to ensure residents have adequate notice to run for office. Council treated the meeting-date change as a scheduling matter to align internal calendars with the election calendar.
