Board President Laura Garrett called the Lockport School District 91 Board of Education into a special session at 4:31 p.m. on May 29, 2025, at the Kelvin Grove LRC. The meeting record shows the board voted to enter a closed session under the Illinois statute that permits closed deliberation on personnel matters (5 ILCS 120/2(c)(1)).
The motion to enter closed session was made by Board President Laura Garrett and seconded by member Oxley-Turner; a roll-call vote recorded ayes from Garrett, Oxley-Turner, Arvidson and Cutforth and no nays or abstentions, and the motion carried. The record shows the board reconvened the public meeting at 6:41 p.m. after a closed session and adjourned at 6:42 p.m. The minutes are signed by Jennifer Fracaro, Recording Secretary, and Laura Garrett, Board President.
