The Lockport School District 91 Board voted on two related personnel actions on June 3: it certified that Superintendent Dr. Wilkey had attained the goals in the current multi-year contract and then approved a new five-year contract for the superintendent.
The board first approved a motion to confirm the superintendent’s attainment of the goals outlined in the existing multi-year contract (motion by Pinn), then approved the superintendent’s proposed five-year contract (motion by Pinn, seconded by Garrett). Both actions passed on unanimous roll-call votes.
Earlier in the evening, the board also approved multi-year administrative contracts; Arvidson moved that action and the motion passed unanimously. These approvals were taken after the board returned from closed session and complete the board’s personnel and administrative contract actions for the meeting.
