Lindop School District 92 board affirms suspension of Administrator 20908191

The Lindop School District 92 Board of Education voted June 13 to confirm the suspension of an employee identified in board minutes as "Administrator 20908191." The action followed a closed session held under the Illinois Open Meetings Act. "I move that the Board go into closed session under 5 ILCS 120/2 (c) (1), (4), (8), (9), and (10) to discuss: The appointment, employment compensation, discipline, or performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the public body, evidence or testimony presented in open hearing, or in closed hearing where specifically authorized by law, security procedures, school building safety and security, student disciplinary cases, and the placement of individual students in special education programs and other matters relating to individual students," the motion stated.

Chair Mr. Patterson made the motion to confirm the suspension in open session; Ms. Johnson seconded the motion. The board recorded the vote as six ayes and one absent (Mr. Dawson). The minutes list board members present as Mr. Patterson, Mr. Myrick, Ms. Griffin, Ms. Johnson, Mr. Hannah and Mr. Buchanan.
