Borough Planner Jim Kyle presented proposed land-use ordinance amendments drawn from the Master Plan, explaining that the suggested changes to the OR zone would broaden options for businesses. Jim Kyle told council members the OR-zone revision "gives more options for businesses and it is no longer required to have residential."
Council Member Angarone asked specifically why the OR zone is being changed; Council Member Chandler raised a practical question about whether the new rules would permit a parking lot near the dentist’s office at 31 N. Main Street. Mr. Kyle said he will look into that specific parking-location question and report back.
