He said properties that receive the funding are monitored by the Orange County Land Trust on behalf of Orange County.
Carla Castillo offered to help promote the availability of the grants so more municipalities and applicants are aware of the program. The board discussed how Open Space Fund awards could supplement other programs and reviewed timing for outreach and possible annual meeting promotion.
