Maywood MOU nearing completion; parks and forestry report routine summer operations

Kurt presented the parks update, saying the department is managing a busy summer schedule across 44 parks and 18 rentable facilities and has filled a recent park-maintenance vacancy. Tim delivered the forestry report and said the city planted "just over 300 trees" during the spring and has issued roughly 49 letters to property owners about nuisance trees that pose hazards.
