The board approved Action Consideration #25-09 (Personnel Consent Agenda), which included certified hires of Lemont Time grade-level consultants at $1,000 for the 2025–26 school year, the resignation of Kimberly McRae (Lemont Time Consultant), and the retirement of John Coneset (Department Chair for Physical Education, Health & Driver Education), effective June 2029 under Section 5.7 of the 2023–2027 ALT Contract. The board also approved rescission of an irrevocable retirement letter for Cindy DeLude.
Non-certified hires approved included paraeducators Nicole Kristopaitis, Christina Tortorich and Cassandra Vasquez ($19/hour, effective Aug. 7, 2025) and Attendance Secretary Colleen Kulaga ($25/hour, effective July 22, 2025). The board also approved spring 2025–26 head coach appointments with stipend amounts (for example, Brian Storako, Baseball, stipend $12,631.55; Christine Traina, Softball, stipend $12,805.95) and a list of volunteer assistant coaches. The minutes note all non-certified hires are contingent upon successful completion of required documents and background checks.
Why it matters: Personnel changes and extracurricular hires determine staffing and program leadership for the upcoming school year and affect costs through stipends and salaries. The retirement dated to 2029 and the rescission of a retirement letter are personnel matters recorded in the minutes.
